Philippine Ambassador Meets with the Director for Consular Affairs of the MFAE

Philippine Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, HE Wilfredo C. Santos, met with Director for Consular Affairs HE Sinan Al Majali, today, 24 May 2023, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates (MFAE).

The two officials discussed consular and other matters between the two countries. They shared the same view on the need to increase bilateral exchanges between the Philippines and Jordan, through the conduct of high-level visits as well as collaboration in various areas of cooperation. They agreed to revisit pending bilateral agreements whose negotiations were stalled by the Covid 19 pandemic.

Accompanying Ambassador Santos during the call was Third Secretary and Vice Consul Sheila Andales. Aside from being the Head of the Consular Affairs Department and Operations Center Unit, Director Sinan Al Majali also serves as the Spokesperson of the MFAE. END.
