Amman PE participated in the “Arts from Asia” Exhibit organized by the Asian Ambassadors’ Ladies in Amman (AALIA). The exhibit, which ran from 28 to 31 May 2012 at Nabad Art Gallery, was part of AALIA’s fund-drive for its charitable activities. The exhibit showcased the paintings and various design objects from AALIA Diplomatic Missions which include Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, China, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Ski Lanka and Thailand.

Amman PE featured two of the artworks of Edmund Bendijo, a renowned Filipino painter based in Lille, France; and the yakan-woven cloth, a pride of Zamboanga and considered to be one of the finest woven-cloth in the Philippines.

The event was capped by the visit of Her Royal Highness Princess Muna Al-Hussein, the mother of King Abdullah II of Jordan, on the last day of the exhibit.
