Philippine Embassy Joins ASEAN Committee in Amman Bowling Championship 2022 

The Philippine Embassy in Jordan, headed by Chargé d’ Affaires, a.i. Angeli A. Payumo joined the ASEAN Committee in Amman (ACA) Bowling Championship 2022 held on October 29, 2022, at Bowling City in Al Mukhtar Mall, Amman. 

The tournament was organized by ASEAN missions in Amman under the chairmanship of the Embassy of Indonesia and was also participated in by the Jordan-Thailand Friendship Association. The event made its comeback after three years of suspension due to the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. Usually held annually, the tournament serves to foster camaraderie, good relations, and unity among the ACA.

A total of ten teams competed, with each team composed of mixed members from the ACA-member missions. A luncheon followed the game and the awarding of the winners.

The ASEAN Committee in Amman is composed of the embassies of Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand.  END
