Philippine Embassy Sponsors the Second Night of Simbang Gabi

The Philippine Embassy officers, staff, and family members sponsored the second night of Simbang Gabi in St. Joseph Church, Rainbow St., Amman on December 16, 2022. The mass celebrant was Rev. Fr. Gerry Masangya, the Filipino Chaplain of the Philippine Catholic Chaplaincy Center in Jordan, and Fr. Bimal Kerketta, an Indian priest based in Amman.

Members of the Filipino catholic community in Jordan joined the devotional service and decades-long tradition of Simbang Gabi which is a nine-day series of night or early morning masses. It begins on the night of December 15 and ends at midnight of December 24 in anticipation of Christmas Day. END
