The ASEAN Ladies Circle in Amman (ALCA) Convenes its First Meeting for 2024

The ASEAN Ladies Circle in Amman (ALCA) convened its first meeting and coffee morning of the year on March 7, 2024, hosted by Madame Rosidah Shafawi of the Embassy of Malaysia, at the Malaysian Residence. 

The agenda of the meeting started with the financial report of the organization, which included updates on the current financial status and expenses. The ALCA also welcomed new members who joined the organization. They were given a brief introduction about the organization's activities and encouraged to participate actively in the upcoming events. Lastly, the group bade farewell to the outgoing ALCA members who had contributed significantly to the organization's success. They were thanked for their service, and given farewell gifts, and the members wished them all the best in their future endeavors.

After the meeting, the ALCA Ladies enjoyed a cultural presentation of Malaysian traditional dresses and played games that contributed to the morning's festivities. A luncheon featuring Malaysian dishes capped off the event. 

The ALCA is a diplomatic organization in Amman composed of ladies from ASEAN member states represented in Jordan. This meeting was attended by thirty-two (32) members from the Embassies of Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand. END
