PH Ambassador to Jordan Signs Open Book of Condolences for the Passing of the Late Iranian President Raisi

AMMAN 22 May 2024 - Philippine Ambassador to Jordan Wilfredo C. Santos signed the open Book of Condolences at the Iranian Embassy in Jordan for the untimely demise of H.E. Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran; H.E. Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and other officials due to a tragic plane crash in East Azerbaijan Province (Northwest Iran) on 19 May 2024. 

Ambassador Santos expressed his profound condolences to the Government and people of Iran. 

Ambassador Santos served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Philippine Embassy, Tehran, with concurrent jurisdiction over Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan from 2017 to 2021. END
