PH Ambassador Santos Graces the 2024 United Filipino Organization Summer Sports League Opening Ceremony

AMMAN 03 May 2024 - Philippine Ambassador to Jordan Wilfredo C. Santos, in support of the United Filipino Organization (UFO), a Filipino community organization in Amman, attended the opening ceremony of its summer sports league on 03 May 2024 at the Terra Sancta College Gymnasium.

The event gathered 10 men's basketball teams and 10 women’s volleyball teams. 

In his speech, Ambassador Santos applauded the UFO organizers, for bringing together the Filipino community in the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

The summer sports league officially started after the ceremonial ball toss led by the Ambassador, and proceeded to play several games for the rest of the morning. END
