Ambassador Santos expressed the gratitude of the Philippines for Jordan's efforts in promoting internationalization in higher education through the encouragement of Filipino student enrollment.
Ambassador Santos also mentioned the Embassy’s request to continue the conduct of the semestral outreach program and wishes to partner with the University on cultural activities for the students. These initiatives are designed to strengthen ties and communication with Filipino students and to make the Embassy's services more accessible to them.
Dr. Naimat, in turn, mentioned that the university boasts global diversity, with students from 29 different countries, and the Philippines leading the list with 511 Filipino students. He also expressed enthusiasm for future collaboration as the university also wishes to expand their network on international partnerships and academic exchanges.
