Overseas Voters’ Field Registration Activities of the Philippine Embassy
The Philippine Embassy in Jordan conducted Overseas Voters’ Field Registration in the Pontifical Mission for Palestine Library and Community Center in Amman on 23 August 2024. This initiative, with the support of the COMELEC and DFA-Overseas Voting Secretariat, aimed to ensure that Filipino citizens residing in Jordan will have the opportunity to participate in the 2025 National Elections.
Many attendees expressed gratitude for the embassy's efforts to reach out and make the registration process accessible. Nineteen individuals availed themselves of the services provided such as registering as first-time voters, re-activating, transferring, and updating their records. Additionally, the Embassy team addressed general consular inquiries. They are composed of Cultural Officer and Voter Registration Machine Operator Ms. Elijah Ang-Encarnacion, Administrative Officer John Danilo Jiao, Jr., and Protocol and Communications Officer Allan Oseo, Jr.
