Philippine Embassy Celebrates Gilas Pilipinas U18 First Win in Jordan

AS SALT, JORDAN 02 September 2024 – The Philippine Embassy in Amman, together with the Filipino Community in Jordan congratulates the Gilas Pilipinas U18 Men’s Team on their victory in the first game against Indonesia on 02 September 2024 at the Arena Theater in As-Salt, Jordan.

The young athletes of Gilas Pilipinas, with their relentless dedication and teamwork, showcased exceptional skill and sportsmanship on the court. They finished strong with a final score of 75-48. Wilhalm Cabonilas led the team with 19 points, 1 steal, and 18 rebounds.

The Gilas U18 Men's Team is here in Jordan to compete in the 2024 FIBA U18 Asia Cup.
