PH Embassy Organizes Meet-and-Greet with the Union of Overseas Bangsamoro

AMMAN, 12 January 2025 – Philippine Embassy personnel participated in a meet-and-greet event with the members of the Union of Overseas Bangsamoro (UOB) Men and Women Chapters, an organization of Filipino students in Jordan, held on 11 January 2025 at the Afani Restaurant in Amman.
Organized by the Embassy’s Foreign Liaison Officer Michael Ragnar Supeña, Post’s personnel, namely, Mr. John Danilo G. Jiao Jr, Administrative Officer, Ms. Charisse F. Malabanan, ATN Officer, and Ms. Mariella S. Masiglat-Balla, Consular and ATN Assistant, were introduced during the meeting. Eight representatives from various universities such as the Jerash University, Mutah University, and the University of Jordan actively participated in the event and briefly discussed their concerns as foreign students in Jordan.
The Embassy personnel had a fruitful exchange of ideas with Filipino Muslim students and reminded the students to continue to be mindful of the host government’s pertinent laws and regulations regarding international students. END
