PH Embassy and Language City Cafe Sign Memorandum of Understanding

AMMAN 20 January 2025 - Aimed at establishing a framework for collaboration to foster cultural exchanges and engagement, the Philippine Embassy in Amman and the Language City Cafe entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today with the signing ceremony conducted at the Philippine Embassy Chancery. 

The MOU is a historic first for the Philippine Embassy in Jordan as it endeavors to promote Philippine culture in mainstream Jordanian society. The collaboration between the two parties, as established through the MOU, will focus on organizing and conducting Filipino cultural events, activities and exhibitions to foster cultural exchange and understanding. 

Joining Ambassador Wilfredo C. Santos were Second Secretary and Consul Angeli A. Payumo, Third Secretary and Vice Consul Sheila Marie G. Andales, Cultural Officer Rachel Pamorada. Signing on behalf of Language City Cafe is its General Manager, Mr. Assim Ahmad Alkhatib. He was joined by Ms. Badiya Hani Abdulkareem, the Commercial and Legal Director of Language City Cafe and Attorney Ody Al-Khatib. END
