CCP PASINAYA Comes to Jordan this Valentine’s Day
AMMAN 02 February 2025 - The Philippine Embassy in Amman is excited to announce that the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ (CCP) “PASINAYA”, the country’s largest annual multi-arts celebration, is now coming to Jordan on 14 February 2025, to coincide with the National Arts Month.
This will be a flagship program of the Philippine Embassy in Jordan in partnership with the Cultural Center of the Philippines and the Language City Café.
PASINAYA which means inauguration; debut; or opening ceremony, now on its 19th year edition, extends its reach to six regional sites in the Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, including overseas in Guangzhou, China; Tripoli, Libya; and for the first-time in Amman, Jordan.
This year’s festivities will feature several exciting components:
●PAMILIHAN – an Art and Food Bazaar
●PALIHAN – a dance demonstration and lecture workshop showcasing Madal Siwol, a traditional folk dance from the T’boli tribe of South Cotabato, Philippines
●PALIHAN – an art workshop where participants can join in the “Paint the Wall by Numbers” activity to create a Philippine Embassy corner at the new Language City Café branch, Zghairon Café
●PALARO – Valentine’s Day-themed games, along with a “Wear Your Love Status with Pasinaya Colors” event
●PALABAS – special live performances, including dance and acoustic music
