Philippine Embassy in Jordan Holds Planning Workshop to Strengthen Operations and Diplomatic Initiatives

AMMAN, 15 March 2025 — The officers and staff of the Philippine Embassy in Jordan, led by His Excellency Wilfredo C. Santos, held their Work Plan and Budget workshop at the Radisson Blu Hotel on 15 March 2025. The workshop focused on goal setting and aligning Embassy resources with overall management strategies. 

During the workshop, Embassy personnel engaged in discussions on resource allocation and setting up realistic strategies to enhance the Embassy’s overall efficiency. This workshop is also a key step in the Embassy’s vision as it prepares for the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Jordan in 2026.

Ambassador Santos highlighted the importance of collaboration and innovation to achieve the Embassy’s goals. He further encouraged the team to remain dedicated to excellence and service, ensuring that resources align with the mission’s objectives.

The workshop also included presentations from each section of the Embassy, outlining their planned activities and programs for the current and upcoming year. 

A total of 17 Embassy officers and staff benefited from this workshop, which helped enhance their strategic planning, coordination, and resource management skills. Through this initiative, the participants are better equipped to improve public service delivery mandates and strengthen various diplomatic engagements and responsibilities throughout their assignments and further in their careers. The learnings from the workshop will serve as a guide and roadmap for more effective and efficient Embassy operations for the coming years.
