This is to inform the public that as of 29 December 2013, the National Statistics Office (NSO), the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB), the Bureau of Labor and Employment Statistics (BLES) and the Bureau of Agricultural Statistics (BAS), have been merged into one statistical agency known as the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), by virtue of Republic Act no. 10625, otherwise known as the Philippine Statistical Act of 2013.

The PSA, which shall be headed by the National Statistician, shall serve as the central statistical authority of the Philippine government and shall be primarily responsible for all national censuses and surveys, sector statistics, consolidation of selected administrative recording systems and compilation of the national accounts. The PSA is also mandated to administer  the civil registration functions provided under Republic Act no. 3753, the Law on Registry of Civil Status.

Pending the development of the official PSA website, the respective websites of the NSO, the NSCB, the BLES and the BAS remain active.
